Gwyneth Paltrow’s White Silk Evening Gown and Cape

Gwyneth Paltrow wore this Tom Ford White Evening Gown at the 84th Annual Academy Awards and then later at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party at the Sunset Tower hotel in Hollywood (February 26, 2012). The white silk evening gown features sculpted shoulders, an asymmetrical neckline, ruching at the bodice, a fitted waist, a maxi skirt, a back zipper, and an attached floor length cape.

There’s something to be said for modern simplicity and a clean-chic silhouette. While this gown lacked the sparkle of sequins that we are accustomed to seeing at the Oscars, it was without a doubt one of the best looks from the red carpet.
