Kate Middleton wore an ALICE by Temperley Armonia Embroidered Cotton Blouse at the Royal Reception for the Calgary Stampede (July 7, 2011). The white semi-sheer cotton blouse features purple and navy embroidery, a ruffled high neck and bib, a button front and buttoned cuffs.

I love how Kate paired the pretty little blouse with jeans, which was obviously appropriate for the occasion. Just additional proof that denim looks great with everything.

Kate Middleton wore an Erdem Cecille Lace Dress while arriving in Ottawa, Canada (June 30, 2011). The navy lace dress features 3/4 sheer sleeves with a scalloped cuff edge, a boat-neck, and a scoop back with a hidden back zipper. Since this dress has been worn by royalty it will definitely be a closet treasure for years to come. It’s kind of fun to pull something out of your closet and say that someone well known wore a piece exactly like it. That is if you’re a fashion nerd like me. They’re like fashion stories. Once upon a time there was a princess who wore a magical dress by Erdem . . .

Story note: I prefer princess over Duchess of Cambridge. It’s way more charming.

Kate Middleton wore this John Lewis Cashmere Cowl Neck Tunic while walking the beach with Pippa at Llanddwyn Island in North Wales (August 20, 2011). I find this cashmere sweater to be sweet and chic. It reminds me a little bit of a something my mom used to wear when I was a child. It was beautiful and my mother looked so pretty in it. This tunic is available  in four pretty pastel colors.

Kate Middleton wore this Alexander McQueen Military-Inspired Silk-Georgette Blouse and an Alexander McQueen Embellished Wool-Crepe Skirt while visiting the Summerfield Community Centre in Birmingham, England today (August 19, 2011). Kate looks lovely; she has the type of figure that really complements clothing. I was never really into the whole royal wedding affair (not including Kate’s wedding dress), but I do look forward to seeing how the young royal couple will use their status. I’m sure both have been inspired by the good work that Princess Diana did. I’m eager to see what charities or causes Kate will align herself with just as much as I’m interested in seeing what she she will wear.

Kate Middleton wore this Ralph Lauren Black Label Cable-Knit Cashmere Sweater while taking a stroll in Holyrood Park in Edinburgh, Scotland (August 1, 2011). Ralph Lauren is a girl’s go-to for preppy style. The chic cashmere sweater is available in the following colors: purple, red and blue. The warm colors have me thinking about fall fashion. And these sweaters would be lovely addition to a fall wardrobe. I’m really torn between the purple and red.
