Nicole Richie wore a Raquel Allegra Laddered Tie-Dye Cotton-Blend Jersey Dress and Balenciaga Buckle Strap Ankle Boots at LAX airport (March 1, 2013). She also carried a Givenchy Nightingale Bag.

The handmade cotton-blend jersey dress features dark-grey and stone tie-dye, slip-on style, ribbed front panel, side pockets, and laddered back hem. The dress is supposedly super-soft, which I absolutely love.

Nicole Richie wore a Mugler Cutout Top, a Winter Kate Lasercut Skirt and Jimmy Choo ‘Sepia’ Two Tone Platform Pumps at the Virgin America’s 5th Annual Sunset Strip Music Festival held at SkyBar in Los Angeles (August 17, 2012). She completed her look with orange Chanel clutch and House of Harlow 1960 Skull Stud Earrings.

The black jersey knit top features a crewneck, long sleeves, and cutout detailing at the back . It’s on sale now.

The black leather skirt features laser cut detailing, a ruffled hem, a hidden back zipper, an exposed snap button at the back, and contrast lining.

While Nicole’s all-black ensemble is without a doubt completely stylish, I’m far to obsessed with the black fitted top and it’s sexy cutout back to truly give each piece the proper amount of attention it deserves. Uber chic. Crave. Major Crave.

Nicole Richie wore a Helmut Lang SS12 Waxed Shine Combo Leather Jacket and Sass & Bide What Comes to Mind Embellished Pants while leaving Nobu restaurant in midtown New York (March 15, 2012). She accessorized with a House of Harlow 1960 Two Tone Engraved Five Station Necklace (available), House of Harlow 1960 Chelsea Cat Eye Sunglasses (available), and a House of Harlow 1960 Devon Bag (available).

The draped jersey jacket features a fold-over collar and an asymmetrical hem. It’s available in champagne and black.

The red silk tailored tapered pants feature multicolor embroidery and bead detailing around waist, an elastic waist in the back, two front pockets and pleating detail below waist. The beading detail includes wooden, crystal-like, and bronze beads. I love how the pants basically have their own jewelry. Nice.

Nicole Richie wore this Julien Macdonald Empire Layered Silk-Satin and Chiffon Gown at the premiere party for the new NBC series “Fashion Star” in New York City (March 13, 2012). The lemon silk-satin gown features a silver neck chain, a detachable buckle-fastening waist belt, asymmetric silk-chiffon layers, hook-fastening at the neck, an asymmetric hem, and a concealed hook and zipper back.

The bright lemon color of this dress is stunning. The beautiful layers of silk chiffon create fashionable fluidity, which you can really appreciate in the runway photo.

Did you watch “Fashion Star” last night? Overall, I liked it. I definitely think it could use a little tweaking though. Elle Macpherson seemed a bit stiff at times. She just didn’t seem as comfortable on camera as Heidi does on “Project Runway.” Hopefully she’ll relax more in future epis, and it won’t seem so obvious that she’s reading the teleprompter. I thought Jessica really shined with her bubbly personality. Jess and John Varvatos were great mentors and did an excellent job of giving the contestants constructive criticism. I thought Nicole seemed a bit quiet, which surprised me. I think the show would have been better if they had a two hour premiere with the first hour focused more on the contestants; it would have let the audience build a relationship with them. I think viewers want to make a connection with the contestants so they can cheer them on through the process. The show’s concept is fun and fashionable though. Orly Shani was a personal fave for me. I love her brand’s name “Tuc+Wes” which are the words “cut + sew” spelled backwards. Her zipper mini skirt was a fabu idea. Kudos to Saks for buying it – it’s already sold out! I also liked the looks featured by Nikki Poulos and Nzimiro Oputa. Kara Laricks collar/bow was not impressive, but I think she has a lot of potential.

Nicole Richie wore a Proenza Schouler Zebra Print Sweater and Ksubi Super Skinny Jeans (available) while promoting “Fashion Star” in New York City (March 12, 2012). She accessorized her look with a House of Harlow 1960 Carmen Sunglasses (available), House of Harlow 1960 Riley Bag (available), and House of Harlow 1960 Callan Suede Platform Pumps (available in black and purple).

The mint-green and black print sweater features raglan sleeves, open-knit panels at shoulders, and ribbed trims. I find the mint-green sweater rather fashion refreshing. Cool and minty.
