Olivia Munn wore a Bird by Juicy Couture Gale Asymmetrical Pleated Halter Dress and Jean Michele Cazabat pumps while attending the Vanity Fair And Juicy Couture Celebration of the 2013 Vanities Calendar held at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood (February 18, 2013). She accessorized her look with a Juicy Couture Beaded Disco Clutch.

The navy blue cocktail dress features contrasting white satin lapel, pleating, and open back, and a plastic functional belt. The clutch features a flap withe intricate iridescent beads,  a Juicy Couture print logo on the back, a lined interior with a zip pocket, and a magnetic closure. Available in gold and regal. I absolutely love this clutch. I prefer the gold one.

I have to confess that I did not like this dress when I first saw it on Olivia. I love it on the model though, and I’m completely smitten with the open back. I’m not sure if it is dark lip and overall makeup that I find off-putting or the fit of the dress around the bodice.

Olivia Munn wore a Raquel Allegra Veil Tank Dress during an appearance on “The Late Show with David Letterman” in New York City (August 20, 2012). The handmade midnight-blue dress features cotton-jersey bodice, racer back, dropped waist, pleated cotton-voile skirt, intentionally raw hem, and a longer back hem.

Defining the waist with a belt was key to creating a more tailored, sexy look. Wise move on her part. Shorter hair really suits her, too.

Since I’m dishing out compliments, I must say that Olivia is quite entertaining on “The Newsroom.” Have you seen it? I like the show but it definitely has some growing pains, which I hope will be ironed out in the second season. My biggest peeve has to be that the main female characters all have these dramatic emotional fits in every episode, which makes them seem a little one dimensional and pathetic. The male characters, however, are much more multifaceted, making them not only more believable but likeable, too. I embrace a character’s vulnerability, but not when it feels like it was born from a stereotype. Women are complex; they don’t usually vomit their emotions in front of a room full of people. Most of the time, we tend to let our emotions stew for awhile, until they are overcooked and eventually boil over. When we’re upset, it usually manifests itself with something known as the “silent treatment” or one-worded, zombie-esque responses such as “fine.” Our brains are like silent assassins,  quickly slicing through information and feelings, even as we try to sleep. Yes, we occasionally have outbursts but we don’t prefer an audience. Aaron Sorkin is a genius, but perhaps he just doesn’t know women.

Olivia Munn wore a Textile Elizabeth and James Zuma Tee with Henry & Belle Skinny Jeans and Sole Society open toe pumps while at Comic-Con in San Diego (July 14, 2012). Olivia was spotted wearing this look while attending Entertainment Weekly’s Comic-Con Celebration event held at the Hard Rock Hotel that same day.

The soft, oversized tank features a V-neck, and long, flowing fabric on either side of the bodice. Don’t you just love flowy tanks like this one? It’s both flattering and figure-forgiving. This means a girl can have both things she craves – cute style and a cookie.

Olivia Palermo wore a Tibi Cheetah Coat and Stuart Weitzman Whiskerlo Flats while walking her dog in New York City (June 15, 2012). The collarless coat features a cheetah print, dolman sleeves, hidden snap closure, and black leather patch pockets. The flats features a perforated metallic pointy-toe and a bow detail and a patent leather upper in a contrasting color. These vintage-inspired flats are available in a few colors.

The cheetah coat is on sale now – 40% off. There is also a Tibi cheetah print blazer available, which is also on sale.

Olivia’s street style can be rather hypnotic.  Pretty patent flats, denim shorts and a cheetah print coat. It’s like a tornado hit her closet and created a surprisingly chic combination. The effortlessly cool look says: “This is not Kansas, it’s New York City.” However, I think every girl can click her Stuart Weitzman flats together and feel like: “There’s no one as stylish as me.”

Olivia Munn wore this Lela Rose Floral Print Dress at Vanity Fair and Juicy Couture’s “Vanities” 20th Anniversary party (February 20, 2012). The ivory voile dress features a multicolored abstract floral print, a twisted bodice, a gathered skirt, side slit pockets, an asymmetric hem, a tulle underlay, and a concealed hook and zipper fastening at the back.

This feminine dress is beyond dreamy; I love the abstract floral print. I consider myself more of a tee and jeans kind of girl, but Lela Rose has a enchanting way of making a girl want to dress more like Grace Kelly.
